Build cybersecurity automation workflows using Python, APIs, structured data and AI-assisted validation through a three-month remote PentestHint Academy programme.

Overview

A hands-on programme for learners who want to automate repetitive security tasks using Python, APIs, structured data and AI-assisted analyst support. PentestHint Academy positions Security Automation with Python & AI as a practical supervised learning path, not a generic AI course. The delivery model is 3 Months, Remote, 20 Classes, 1 Hour per Class, 5 Days per Week, 40 Supervised Working Days, and programme fee INR 6,999. The first month includes 20 live practical classes, conducted one hour a day, five days a week. The following two months focus on supervised remote internship and live-project work, documentation, mentor review and final project demonstration. Certificate model: Learners who meet attendance, assignment, project, documentation and review requirements receive a Three-Month Training Certificate and a Remote Internship / Live Project Certificate from PentestHint Academy. Target audience: Cybersecurity beginners with basic IT knowledge, Junior security analysts, VAPT professionals, SOC and threat-intelligence learners, Security professionals who want to automate repetitive tasks. Prerequisites: Basic IT and networking knowledge, Basic Linux familiarity is helpful, No advanced programming experience required, Willingness to practice Python and debugging. Month 1 roadmap: Week 1 Python foundations for cybersecurity: Python fundamentals for cybersecurity, Linux and Git basics, Ethical automation and authorised targets, Variables, conditions, loops and functions, File handling and structured output. Week 2 Networking, APIs and data handling: Networking, HTTP, DNS and API fundamentals, JSON, CSV and Excel data handling, REST API integration, Error handling, Secure configuration and secret-handling concepts. Week 3 Authorised security workflow automation: Automating authorised security workflows, Asset and domain information gathering, DNS, TLS and security-header interpretation, Scan/log output parsing, Threat-intelligence enrichment concepts. Week 4 AI-assisted analyst workflows: AI-assisted analyst workflows, Validating AI output, Automated evidence organisation, Security reporting automation, Final guided automation exercise. Supervised live project examples: Security-report automation workflow, Asset exposure/certificate-monitoring utility, Threat-intelligence enrichment utility, Security checklist/evidence assistant, API-connected security dashboard, Project documentation and demonstration. Required project outputs: Authorised automation scope, Python script or workflow prototype, Input/output data samples, Evidence organisation notes, Project documentation, Final demonstration. Tools and technologies: Python, Git, Linux, REST APIs, JSON, CSV/Excel, structured logging, approved AI APIs or local models, automation workflows, security data sources and existing PentestHint tools/labs where appropriate. Learning outcomes: Write basic Python scripts for authorised security workflows, Work with HTTP, DNS, APIs, JSON, CSV and structured output, Parse scan and log output for reporting, Use AI assistance with validation and human review. Do I need advanced programming experience? No. Advanced programming is not required, but learners should be ready to practice Python, command-line usage, APIs, data parsing and debugging. What will I automate? Projects may include reporting workflows, exposure monitoring, certificate monitoring, threat-intelligence enrichment, evidence assistants and API-connected security dashboards. Is AI output trusted automatically? No. The programme teaches AI-assisted workflows with human review, evidence validation, audit trails and approval controls. Will I receive certificates? Learners who meet attendance, assignment, project, documentation and review requirements receive a Three-Month Training Certificate and a Remote Internship / Live Project Certificate from PentestHint Academy. Are projects authorised? Yes. Learners work only on authorised labs, approved internal projects and responsible security practice.
